Origin:

Though he frequently engages in lethal combat, Omega Wesen is but a normal human, lacking special powers whatsoever. Known professionally as the Omegalitarian, Mr. Wesen wages his war against the world's wealthiest individuals using only his skill and his conventional arsenal.

Known Powers:

(none)

Limitations / Enhancements:

(none)

Equipment:

Blade: in the event that he needs to cut something and his hatchets aren't ideal for the task at hand, Omega carries a serrated blade. Made from Remarkable (30) MS materials, it can be used to slice through items of up to like MS, or to inflict Edged Attack damage.

Hatchets: his signature melee weapons, Omega relishes their use against the bourgeoisie and their toadies. Made from Incredible (40) MS materials, he can use these weapons to inflict Edged Attack damage in melee, or to cut through items of up to a like MS when necessary.

Sidearms: Omega carries two semi-automatic pistols while working, each holstered on a different hip. He can either fire one round from these weapons to inflict Typical (6) Shooting damage, or a three-round burst from them to inflict Good (10) Shooting damage.

Smartphones: Omega usually has at least two of these portable supercomputers on hand at any given time, one normal phone for personal use and one burner phone for business. It can send and receive radio signals with Poor (4) ability, giving it an optimum range of five miles.

Uzi 9mm: his preferred ranged weapon, Omega carries one of these whenever he can. It can fire one round to inflict Typical (6) Shooting damage, fire several rounds to inflict Good (10) Shooting damage, or fire continuously to inflict Excellent (20) Shooting damage.

Omega accessorizes his Uzi with a folding stock and a tactical foregrip bipod to improve accuracy, a flashlight to better enable combat at night by projecting Good (10) intensity illumination, and a suppressor which reduces its sound output to only Feeble (2) intensity while working.

Quirks:

Ambidexterity: an unusual ability he never had to bother training, Omega is naturally, equally adept in the use of both hands. Whether performing an activity with either his left or his right hand, Omega may do so without penalty, unlike most people.

Fighting Logistics: as his mind is like a steel trap, Omega can reasonably guess an opponent's combat moves after observing them in action. After they engage in battle for ten rounds, Omega should receive a +1 CS on all Fighting ACTIONs he attempts against his foes.

Vow: after his family fortunes were effectively stolen by hedge fund owners, Omega has vowed to cost the wealthy more than they ever took from his kin... so much more. He must pass a Psyche (will) ACTION at -2 CS should he wish to forego waging this personal war for a time.

Talents:

Guns: initially gained while serving in his nation's military, Omega has maintained this skill over the years. It allows him to fire any standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifle or pistol as if his Agility (dex) was +1 CS higher than is indicated above.

Martial Arts types B and E: while he prefers to fight with weapons in hand, Omega can defend himself even without any. He may attempt any unarmed melee strike as if his Fighting (off) was +1 CS higher than is listed above, doing so with a +1 initiative bonus.

Military / France: the origin of his fighting ability, Omega served in his national military for several years. This talent allows Omega to function effectively in a fighting unit, and he receives numerous additional martial contacts as a consequence of his service.

Piloting: his specialty in the French military, Omega has been trained as a helicopter pilot, a skill he infrequently utilizes to this very day. He may operate any rotary-wing aircraft with a +1 CS bonus to either his Agility or the vehicle's Control rating, as is necessary.

Skill / Axes: something he picked up for fun, this weapon skill is something Omega has developed into a deadly pastime. He may wield any axe, whether one- or two-handed, with a +1 CS bonus to his Fighting (off) score (in melee) or his Agility (dex) (when thrown).

Two Axes: supplementing his core skill in the use of axes, whether in melee or when flung, Omega has developed a technique to wield two axes at once. Thanks to this, he may attempt one additional axe attack each turn, whether made individually or as a bursting assault.

Contacts:

A highly effective and motivated mercenary, Omega Wesen has numerous martial contacts. Whether they are his peers from the French military, his fellow combatants for hire, or even assorted armorers who supply him his gear, Omega can rely on a vast array of aid in a pinch.

Costume:

When he sets out to fight, Omega generally wears a pair of green and brown camouflage trousers, a green, pouch-laden vest over a white T-shirt, shiny black leather boots, a black leather belt, black leather holsters for his sidearms and blade, and a green beret.

Personality:

A product of his past, Omega lives and breathes his adopted mission of sticking it to the rich. After his family was financially ruined through the sinister machinations of hedge fund babies, he has had nothing but a burning need for justice aimed at such individuals in his heart.

While it took personal consequences for Omega to adopt his militant egalitarian ideals, he nonetheless sticks with them to the bitter end, no matter how detrimental his personal war against the wealthy is to his life. Luckily for him, a whole lot of people share Omega's ultimate goal.

Real Name: Omega Wesen
Occupation: mercenary
Legal Status: citizen of France with a considerable criminal record in several different nations around the world
Marital Status: married
Alias(es), if any: none
Group Affiliation: none

Height: 6' 1"
Hair: black
Eyes: hazel
Weight: 210 lbs
Other Distinguishing Characteristics: Omega always keeps his head and face clean shaven. He never wears business attire, typically relying upon well-worn casual wear to make a statement when he isn't 'on the clock'.

Story:

A long time ago, Omega was an ordinary man with ordinary goals. He came from a long line of bakers, but didn't immediately join the family business. He was the fifth child in his family, though, so it wasn't like he was doing any damage to the legacy the Wesens had built.

His heart pulled elsewhere, Omega enlisted in the French military as soon as he could, and when he met the love of his life several years into his enlistment, the lovebirds were wed at the first opportunity. He left his job as a military pilot to do just that, returning home at last.

Thinking he could simply join the family business, Omega was distraught to learn that it was in deep trouble. Targeted by a hedge fund who wanted the land his family's bakery sat on no matter the cost, these rich jerks leveraged all their resources to force the Wesens out.

Crestfallen, his family was incapable of starting anew after they were broken by these machinations, leaving Omega infuriated. Seeing red, he donned a mask and, after acquiring a sizeable arsenal from his old military buddies, Omega launched a one-man war against these villains!

Traveling to Italy, he personally murdered several owners of this hedge fund, seizing their records as the opportunity arose. Poring over this data, Omega discovered a vast network of ultra-wealthy effete who essentially lived above the law thanks to their connections.

Wishing to put and end to this state of affairs, yet needing income to wage this war, Omega had to accept work as a mercenary. He took jobs that allowed him to strike against the wealthy in some fashion or another, using the pay from these jobs to fund his personal combat action.

While ordinary folks seem to appreciate his violent crimes, Omega has crossed swords with numerous other mercenaries and hired thugs. Chief amongst these is the one and only Discarder, a professional assassin who routinely takes jobs to murder impediments to the wealthy.

While he can't seem to eliminate the Discarder, that assassin is high on Omega's list, to the point that he's hired private investigators to keep tabs on the Discarder's whereabouts. This warns him when the murderer is in the field, allowing Omega to either avoid him or seek him out.

Not that the Discarder is Omega's primary concern, of course. He's just one amongst many hired guns of the rich - that assassin just happens to work on the opposite side of Omega's war. In the end, this means that one of these professional combatants will be the death of the other.
