He lacks special powers altogether, only able to rely upon his skills, experience, and lethal hardware while engaging in criminal activities for his syndicate. Known Powers: (none) Limitations / Enhancements: (none) Equipment: Bludgeon: while his preference in melee is to simply beat his opponents into a pulp, Frankie knows he has to end some fights faster than others. He carries this short metal club for such instances, with which he can inflict +1 CS Blunt Attack damage to his foes. M-24 Sniper Rifle: his personal favorite weapon at work, Frankie can effectively hit targets within twenty-two areas of his person with this bolt-action rifle. Each round Frankie discharges from this weapon can inflict an impressive Good (10) Shooting damage to whatever it hits. Sidearm: should he be unable to bring along his long rifle while working, Frankie also carries this backup under his coat jacket. He can discharge one round with it to inflict Typical (6) Shooting damage, or a three-round burst of such to inflict Good (10) Shooting damage. Smartphones: Frankie hates smartphones and the Internet. Nonetheless, he must carry several of these portable supercomputers at all times, most of which are burner phones. They can send and receive digital signals with Poor (4) ability, having a maximum ideal range of five miles. Quirks: Lameness / Left Leg: after a member of a rival syndicate chopped off half of his left foot, Frankie was effectively hobbled for life. He thus suffers a -2 CS penalty for purposes of movement speed and balance, which is why he generally prefers to engage in long-range combat. Talents: Crime: an avowed criminal his entire adult life, and even for a bit before then, Frankie is well-versed in various illicit practices. He should receive a +1 CS bonus on ACTIONs related to this lifestyle, ranging from fencing and appraising goods to disguising his identity. Driving 2: as much of his non-combat job description involves driving for the House, Frankie has actually taken numerous courses on both offensive and defensive driving. As such, he may resolve driving ACTIONs required during play at a +2 CS to his Agility or his vehicle's Control. Guns 2: since providing cover is his primary job these days, Frankie works hard to keep his marksmanship skills sharp. He may add a +2 CS to any Agility ACTION called for when firing standard, semi-automatic, or fully automatic rifles or pistols of any type. Martial Arts type B: while he's an expert marksman, Frankie truly prefers to just beat his foes senseless. He excels in hand-to-hand combat, even if his movement is curtailed somewhat, and he should receive a +1 CS bonus when attempting any unarmed melee assault on his foes. Contacts: Frankie is a proven and trusted member of the Hedgehog House, having literally bled for the criminal syndicate on multiple occasions, so he can readily consider them a reliable contact. He also knows several additional criminals he works for on the side, because times are tough. Costume: Most of the time, Frankie dresses 'in character' as an enforcer for the Hedgehog House. His ensembles primarily consist of pinstripe suits, of either a Navy blue or black hue, with matching ties, black leather shoes, black leather belts, and of course black mirrored shades. Personality: Frankie has always been a ball of fury, and never dealt with his anger issues. He vents on anyone he can given the opportunity, and is resentful that his disability has put a damper on his great joy. After all, it's hard to beat people senseless when they can just... walk away from him. Since violence on the job escapes him for the most part, he's tried to channel his excess energy into the pursuit of multiple different skills. This works to some extent, with pride in his work dampening his rage somewhat, but it's a poor substitute in his mind for what he really wants. He has numerous tattoos, but they're usually covered up by the expensive suits he wears. Story: Violent since the day he was born, Frankie has always had issues dealing with the anger that consumes him. Taking out his problems on others at every opportunity, he wasn't long for formal education, and he was inherently unsuitable for conventional employment of any sort. As often happens with people like Frankie, he was recruited to indulge in his favorite pastime by criminals. Brought on by the Hedgehog House as disposable muscle, Frankie quickly proved himself with just how readily - and effectively - he dispensed violence at their direction. Whether shaking down people who owed the Hedgehogs money or choking out rival syndicates trying to horn in on their turf, Frankie did more than his fair share propping up the House. That's one reason they stuck with him after he was mutilated by a band of interloping human traffickers. Wanting to send the Hedgehogs a message, they ambushed Frankie and, after carving him up with their blades, hacked half of his left foot off! While this would've been enough to scare off most, this only encouraged Frankie to get even, and as soon as he'd recovered a bit, he did just that. After he single-handedly dismantled the crew that mutilated him, beating half of them to death with his bare hands, the Hedgehogs continued to put Frankie to work. Of course, keeping the nature of his new reality in mind, they never sent Frankie out to work for them by himself. Wanting to remain useful, and needing an outlet for all his fury, Frankie has mastered numerous additional skills. An expert driver and marksman now, since he can perform these jobs even without both of his feet, Frankie has proven indispensable to the Hedgehogs, as well as others. His new skills in high demand, Frankie now freelances on top of his normal duties for the House. In particular, he guards and transports 'product' for Phlebo Tony, a distressing member of ABBREVIATION that owns and operates numerous blood banks for his terrorist group. Sure, it means he occasionally works for a vampire, but Frankie doesn't care. As long as Tony and his buddies don't step on the Hedgehogs' toes, he's happy to help them out as a side hustle.
